General and Crew

Who exactly will be working on my property?

This is the most common question we get. Unlike many contractors who sub-contract to random, lowest-bidder teams, Maxima Construction uses a consistent, professional crew.

No Random Labour: You will not see strangers or unskilled temporary workers on your site.
Communication: Our crews are respectful and easy to communicate with.
Supervision: Dmytro (the owner) personally supervises quality control to ensure the standards of our partners (like Intex Homes and Matisse Homes) are met every time.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry full General Liability Insurance and all our workers are covered by WCB. We remove the risk from your business and your home.

What areas do you serve?

We are based in Calgary and serve the entire surrounding area, including Okotoks, Chestermere, and Cochrane.

How do you handle project timelines?

We know that if your downstream trades (painters, landscapers) get delayed, you lose money.

We stick to the schedule:

If we say we start Monday, we start Monday. If we say the project will be finished on time, it will be finished on time.
No "Ghosting": We provide consistent updates.

How do you handle pricing and Change Orders?

We hate surprise bills as much as you do.

Our estimates are based on blueprints and precise measurements. Unless the scope of work changes significantly at your request, the price we quote is the price you pay.

We aim for zero surprise costs.

Can you handle multiple exterior systems on one job?

Yes. We are a full-envelope contractor.

Instead of hiring one guy for siding, one for stone, and another for soffit—we do it all.

This simplifies your scheduling and ensures the transitions between materials (e.g., where stone meets stucco) are watertight and technically perfect.

Absolutely. We don’t expect you to be an exterior expert—that’s our job. We will walk you through the pros and cons of each system:

Hardie Siding: Best for hail resistance and low maintenance.
EIFS Stucco: Best for energy efficiency (insulation).
Stone Veneer: Best for increasing property value and curb appeal. We help you choose what fits your budget and your aesthetic vision.

Will my yard be a mess during the project?

No. We treat your home with respect.

We maintain a clean worksite, organize our materials professionally, and handle all waste disposal. We aim to be as non-intrusive as possible so you can live your life while we work.

Do you handle the permits and materials?

Yes. We aim to make this as "hands-off" for you as possible.

From ordering the correct materials to arranging delivery and handling waste containers, we save you time by managing the logistics.

Can you install during the winter?

Yes.

We are an Alberta-based company; we know how to build for the cold.

We use specific "Alberta-Weather-Ready" systems and house wrapping techniques (Tyvek) to ensure moisture is sealed out and materials cure or settle correctly, regardless of the season.

What are your hours of operation?

We operate Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

We are closed on statutory holidays.
